1 Year In God’s Word: Day 222 — Psalm 149-150, 1 Corinthians 5

Psalm 149
Focus Verse: Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. (2)

The joy of Jesus causes continuous rejoicing and we find gladness in God and His goodness.

Psalm 150
Focus Verse: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. (6)

For as long as we are alive, we should praise God for all that He has done, all that He is doing, and all that He has yet to do.

1 Corinthians 5
Focus Verse: What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? (12)

As Christians, we should be more concerned that our behavior is right and that the behavior of fellow believers is right instead of constantly judging the behavior of the world. We are in the world to be witnesses, not judges.
