Jeremiah 7
Focus Verse: But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you. (23)

When we are obedient to God, things will go well with us. This is not to say that our lives will be perfect; however, we will have peace knowing that we are walking in God’s will and He is pleased with our actions.

Jeremiah 8
Focus Verse: Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people? (22)

Thank God that there is a balm in Gilead for us. This healing balm is the saving power of Jesus the Christ. He is also known as the Great Physician and He is always able to heal our spiritual wounds.

Jeremiah 26
Focus Verse: As for me, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right. (14)

When we are doing what God has told us to do, we will not be afraid of what human beings threaten to do to us.

Acts 28
Focus Verse: He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance! (31)

Tradition has it that Paul was beheaded by the Emperor Nero in Rome. We are not absolutely certain about this, but we can be certain that until the end of his days, Paul was faithful in preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In one of his letters to Timothy, Paul was spot on when he said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Whether people listened and became convinced of Jesus or listened and refused to believe in Jesus, Paul was bold in proclaiming the message he knew to be true.
