Focus Verse: Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty. (3)
When people disobey the Lord and stray from Him, they open the door for His presence to depart. But His immediate reaction is not one of anger or punishment. He speaks words of encouragement to us and strips us of our filthy clothes. He does not see us in our sin, but clothed in the fine righteousness of His Son, Jesus the Christ.
Focus Verse: So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. (6)

Christ is the source of all good, therefore we ought to imitate Him. Doing what is good and godly shows that we are His followers and God is our Father.
