1 Year In God’s Word: Day 352 — Psalm 107, Psalm 126, Revelation 10

Psalm 107
Focus Verse: Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe. (2)

If you are a redeemed child of God, then you have a story to tell. Tell of how God saved you from what you used to be. Tell of the mercy and love that He has poured into your life. Tell of how you have an eternal hope and future because of the work Christ did on the cross to save you from sin and death. Give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing goodness and for His love that endures forever.

Psalm 126
Focus Verse: Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. (6)

This verses describes how the people of Israel went into captivity weeping, but returned to their own land with songs of joy. It can also be applied to how Christians should go out among the lost with hearts of compassion and eyes full of tears at the plight that the unsaved are in. However, if we are faithful in sowing the Gospel seed, we will return with joy in the future over the many souls that have been saved.

Revelation 10
Focus Verse: And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.” (4)

God used His Word to reveal many things about Himself, our world, the past, the present, and the future, but He did not reveal everything. There are many more things that remain hidden from us. I’m sure God has good reasons for keeping it that way.
