Mark 5:1-20
Jesus Heals a Man with a Demon
We know that the man who had been possessed with demons was truly changed because unlike the others, he wanted to be with Jesus. The Gerasenes begged Jesus to go away, while the former demon-possessed man begged Him to stay. Jesus, however, tells him to “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

Once we have been saved, Jesus the Christ puts His light inside of us. He does not need us to stay close to Him and shine. He wants us to go back to our lost friends, family members, and communities and share with them all that the Lord has done for us.

Favorite verse: (19) And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”
