Mark 6:30-56
(30-44) Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand
When Jesus’ disciples returned from the mission He sent them on, He told them to “Come away…and rest a while.” In our hectic and busy world with so many people and things grabbing for our attention, it is important for us to make time to rest, especially when we are engaged in doing the work of Christ. God, the One Who neither grows tired nor sleeps, is our first example. After He finished creating the world over a span of six days, He rested on the seventh day.

(53-56) Jesus Heals the Sick in Gennesaret
It doesn not matter whether people recognize us or not, but we should live in such a way that they immediately recognize Christ in us.

Favorite verse: (50) For they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.”
