Mark 10:32-52
(46-52) Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus
Bartimaeus kept calling out to Jesus until Jesus answered him and granted his request. We should also keep calling out to Jesus until the thing we are praying about or praying for has been prayed through. Do not stop calling out to Jesus when others urge you to shut up. Just call louder. Christ hears our prayers and He honors our persistence. After calling, notice what Bartimaeus did after Jesus the Christ restored his sight. Verse 52 says, “and immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.” Bartimaeus did not just receive a miracle and run in the opposite direction. He showed his devotion and appreciation by immediately following the One Who healed him.

Favorite verse: (45) For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
