Mark 11:1-18
(1-11) The Triumphal Entry
If Jesus had entered Jerusalem on a horse, He would have been seen as a mighty warrior coming to conquer the Romans and physically save His people. If Jesus had entered Jerusalem on a donkey, He would have been seen as humble and lowly (which He was). But in this instance, Jesus entered Jerusalem on a colt which had never been used before signifying that He came as a servant, in peace.

Favorite verse: (9) And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
