Mark 11:19-33
(20-25) The Lesson from the Withered Fig Tree
Jesus the Christ withered the fig tree because its leaves were in full bloom, but it did not carry any figs. The lesson for us is that we cannot call ourselves Christians, yet never bear any fruit. We cannot profess to be something that we’re not or claim to have something that we don’t have.

If we have faith in God, all things (in accordance with His will) will be possible for us.

If we want to be forgiven by God, we must forgive others. And we can forgive others because we have been forgiven by God.

Favorite verse: (24) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
