Luke 18:24-43
(24-30) The Rich Ruler
God does not overlook those who give up many things or all things to follow Him. Nothing that we do in good faith and right spirit for the kingdom of God will go unnoticed. The age to come holds rewards for all those who serve God.

(35-43) Jesus Heals a Blind Beggar
When we know we are in need of something, how persistently and earnestly do we call and keep calling until God answers us? Do we let the rebukes of those in front of us stop us from praying and pleading? May we never be bullied into silence before God, but instead cry out all the more so that the Savior will not pass us by.

Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

Savior, Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

Favorite verse: (27) But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
