John 6:22-44
I Am the Bread of Life
The crowd was amazed that Jesus fed thousands of people with just a few small loaves and fishes, so when they found out that Jesus and His disciples were no longer with them, they went after them, searching for Jesus. When they found Him, Jesus warned them against seeking Him just because of the food miracle He had performed. He urged them to seek Him to believe in Him.

God sent both the manna and the Bread of Life down from Heaven. The manna perished, and those who ate of the manna also perished. But the Bread of Life endures and gives life to the world. Those who eat of the Bread of Life will also endure to eternal life. All those who come to God through Christ will never be cast out. It is the will of God for all those who believe to be raised on the last day just as Christ was raised on the third day.

Favorite verse: (35) Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.
