New Testament In a Year: June 22 – Acts 7:1-21

Acts 7:1-21
(1-21) Stephen’s Speech
This is one of my favorite speeches in the Bible. Stephen tells the history of Israel starting with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and continuing on to Joseph and Moses. Throughout the narrative we see (for the most part) the faith of the people in the promise of God, and God’s faithfulness to them. God never left them, but helped them through every affliction.

Favorite verse: (9) “And the patriarchs, jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt; but God was with him.
