Acts 16:22-40
(25-40) The Philippian Jailer Converted
In every difficulty, there is an opportunity for us to be witnesses for Jesus the Christ. Paul and Silas were witnesses not only to the jailer and his family, but also to the other prisoners who were bound with them. They were praying and singing hymns before they were even provided an opportunity to escape. Their faith was on display for all to see and hear that they were not dismayed by the bleak circumstance they were in. Their confidence was in God. If Paul and Silas had been grumbling and complaining, or if they had run as soon as their bonds were broken, they would have missed the opportunity to lead several souls to the Savior.

Favorite verse: (30) Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
