(1-9) Paul and Silas in Thessalonica
The apostles continued what Jesus had started and by His power succeeded in turning the world upside down for His glory. Even those who were against them had to admit that the Gospel that was being preached had radically transformed and impacted their world and there was little they could do about it. Christians today should be just as effective in their witness for the Lord. When we believe in Jesus the Christ, He enters our hearts, turns our lives upside down, and gives us a new perspective on everything. That new perspective should result in our communities, our cities, our countries, and the world over also being turned upside down.
