Romans 11:19-36
(19-24) Gentiles Grafted In
Just because we Gentiles have been grafted into the places of the unbelieving Jews, Paul tells us that we have no right to be proud of that. We are only grafted in because of our faith in God and because of His mercy on us. If we fall away from the faith, God will graft us out just like he grafted those Jews who did not believe out. Likewise, if the unbelieving Jews return to the faith, God will graft them back in again.

(25-36) The Mystery of Israel’s Salvation
One day, all of Israel will be saved because they are and will remain God’s chosen people. Despite their disobedience and unbelief, God will not revoke His gifts, calling, or promise that He gave to them when the world was just getting started. How deep indeed are the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments! How inscrutable are His ways! His thoughts are truly above our thoughts, and His ways far higher than our ways. All things come from Him, through Him, and exist for and to Him. Glory!

Favorite verse: (36) For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
