1 Corinthians 16
(5-11) Plans for Travel
Although Paul desired to visit the Corinthian Christians and spend some time with them, he puts doing the work of the Lord first. He is aware that a wide door of opportunity to do effective Gospel work has opened to him, and he is focused on doing that work first even though there are many adversaries.

The Corinthian Christians are encouraged to help Timothy, not despise him, just because he is a young believer. New and young Christians should be supported as they strive to do the work of the Lord. What matters is sincerity, not style or age.

(12-18) Final Instructions
Believers are encouraged to stand firm in the faith, to be strong, and to let all their actions be done in love.

Favorite verse: (14) Let all that you do be done in love.
