Ephesians 5:17-33
(17-21) Instead of getting drunk and engaging in other foolishness, we are to spend our time understanding what the will of the Lord is and then doing His will. The Holy Spirit will give us a spirit of praise and thanksgiving toward God and a spirit of respect and deference toward other people.

(22-33) Wives and Husbands
After creating the earth, God didn’t create the church or the government or any other educational or economic institutions. He created the family. Since the family was created by God, we shouldn’t assume that we know how it should be run. We may not understand why or how God’s rules for the family work (it is, after all, a profound mystery); but it is better for us to follow His rules than trying to do it our own way.

Favorite verse: (20) Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
