Genesis 1, 2, 3
Focus Verse:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. – Genesis 1:27

In the beginning, God created. He created the heavens and the earth, sea and sky, evening and morning, day and night, finned fish and winged birds. He created it all and He found that all of it was good.

And then God said, “Let there be you,” and here you are. God sees that you are good. He calls you Friend (John 15:15) and Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).

God is perfect and in His perfect image, He created you. His breath is in you.

Whatever you want and whatever you need, you have it. All of heaven (sun, moon, stars) and all of earth (vegetation, plants, trees, fruit, seed, birds, beasts) was created for your benefit and for your enjoyment. God has given it to you to care for and control. While you are here, be productive and fill the earth with goodness and grace.

Do not be too busy that you neglect to rest.

God does not deem it good for you to be alone. That is why He also created me and people all over the world. We are sisters, brothers, and friends. We are bone of one another’s bones and flesh of each other’s flesh. We are one. If you need help, reach out. Do not let the hate and hurt of some shut out the love and kindness of others.

Because forbidden fruit was eaten, you now know what is good and what is evil. Choose what is good. Then you will not have to hide from God, but will walk with Him and enjoy His glorious presence forever.
