Old Testament In a Year: January 15 – Job 17, 18, 19

Job 17, 18, 19
Focus Verse: For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. – Job 19:25

In a world of uncertainty, who can you be certain of?

Perhaps you feel estranged from some family members. Maybe a few relatives have failed you. Friends who used to be close have now forgotten you. Those you loved, have turned against you.

Of this you can be sure. Your Redeemer lives. He will not only live in the distant future. He is living right now, in the present, at this moment.

Consider your Redeemer yours. He has a vested interest in you. He will be powerful for you. He will plead your cause. He will right all wrongs done against you. He will save you.

When you depart this life, you will see your Redeemer face to face. You will see Him for yourself.

From Him, you will never feel alienated. He will never fail you. He will never forget you. He will always love you. Never turn against or away from you. In the end, He will rise over the dust and stand on the earth.
