Old Testament In a Year: January 20 – Job 30, 31

Job 30, 31
Focus Verse: Did not he who made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb? – Job 31:15

Rich and poor. White and black. Master and servant. Male and female. You and me.

What do we all have in common?

The God who made you is the God who made me. The same God formed us both at the moment of our conception.

Regardless of a person’s status, they should be treated as God treats each and every one of us. With love and respect, concern and compassion, friendship and kindness.

It is God, not death, who is the great equalizer. In His sight, we all stand on level ground.

No one is inferior to another. No one is less than another. We have one Creator, the same Creator. He breathed into us the same breath, shaped us with the same dust, poured into us the same blood.

He created us because of the same reason – love. He created us for the same purpose – to glorify Him. He created us in the same image – His.

We are all His creatures. We are all the same kind of equal.
