Old Testament In a Year: January 23 – Job 36, 37

Job 36, 37
Focus Verse: “Hear this, O Job; stop and consider the wondrous works of God. – Job 37:14

Stop. Wait a minute.

When was the last time you considered the majesty of God, the greatness of God, and His wondrous works?

Lightning and thunder. Snow and rain. Whirlwind and ice. Clouds and waters. Wonder after wonder. Awe upon awe. The ordinary miracles of life.

Stand still. Be quiet. Consider the works of God. In doing so, you will come to know Him better. You will learn to trust more in His providence. Instead of questioning what you do not know or see, you will admire and respect what you do see and know. You will be drawn closer to your Maker and your Maker will be drawn closer to you.

In every unfolding wonder of nature, take time to read the Author’s story and view the Artist’s work.
