Genesis 36, 37, 38
Focus Verse: Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits. Then we will say that a fierce animal has devoured him, and we will see what will become of his dreams.” – Genesis 37:20

Joseph’s dreams about his future came from God. The dreams that dance in your head and beat in your heart also come from God.

Naysayers will conspire to kill your dreams. Here comes this dreamer, they will say. Let’s curse her confidence, tear down her target, throw shade on her ambition, hang a cloud over her future. Then we will see what will become of her dreams.

Never mind them. If God has sparked a dream in your heart, chase it. Believe in it. Every dream of yours that is rooted in God, will come true. He has chosen and gifted you for your dream.

Your dream may be tested. It may face trials. When it is, you will need to trust in the One who gave it to you. He will see you through. He will guide and provide and protect you as you journey towards your dream. In His perfect time, He will see to it that your dream comes true.

Doubt is a dream-killer. So, have faith. Fear is a dream-paralyzer. So, have courage. Safety is a dream-minimizer. So, take risks.

Believe in the beauty, the magic, the improbability of your dreams.

Above all, believe in the Giver of dreams.
