Old Testament In a Year: February 3 – Genesis 41, 42

Genesis 41, 42
Focus Verse: Joseph answered Pharaoh, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.” – Genesis 41:16

I am not able to do it, you say. But don’t forget the One who can. It is God who will do it through you.

You may not be able to do something in your own power or by your own strength or with your own knowledge, but God will extend His gifts, grace, and goodness to you and allow you to accomplish great things. When you do hard things, impossible things, things that no one thought you could do, don’t be proud. Give praise to God.

Attribute your gifts to the Giver of them, your might to your Maker, and your ability to the Almighty.

It is not you, but He who works through you.

So, when someone asks, How?

You will say, Not I, but God.
