Old Testament In a Year: February 12 – Exodus 14, 15

Exodus 14, 15
Focus Verse: And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. – Exodus 14:13

Are you between a rock and a hard place? Is the sea to the front of you, the Egyptians to the back of you, and the wilderness to the right and left of you. Are you shut in by problems? Beset by trouble? Plagued by fear? When you look all over and find no one who can help improve your lot, there is only one place left to look. Up.

Look up and cry out to the Lord. Not in fear, but in faith. And while you are crying out, keep moving forward. God works when you walk.

He has brought you too far to leave you now. He didn’t allow you to be freed just to have you enslaved again. You may not see how your problems will be solved or how your trouble will be remedied, but God is an expert at making a way when there is no way. His specialty is making the impossible possible.

God is working for you and fighting for you – not tomorrow, not sometime in the distant future, but TODAY.

All He asks you to do is: Fear not. Stand firm. See My salvation.
