Old Testament In a Year: February 20 – Exodus 31, 32, 33

Exodus 31, 32, 33
Focus Verse: Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp. – Exodus 33:7

When you need to talk to God, you don’t have to wait until you go to church. You don’t have to travel to a special place to meet with God.

Your tent of meeting is wherever you are.

Whether at home or at school or at work, God is there. When you call, He will reply. When you ask, He will answer. When you listen, He will speak to you just like you speak to your best friend. He knows you by name.

Even when you leave off talking, God’s presence will still be with you. His presence in your life is what sets you apart from others. You are never alone. Wherever you go, God is also there – paying attention to all that you’re going through, understanding each of your doubts and joys and concerns, working on your behalf.

In your tent of meeting, He will show you His ways. He will flood you with favor. He will give you rest.
