Leviticus 3, 4, 5
Focus Verse: And all its fat he shall remove as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it on the altar, on top of the Lord’s food offerings. And the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he has committed, and he shall be forgiven. – Leviticus 4:35

These three chapters detail how the Israelites were to make three different offerings to the Lord – peace offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings. They had to repeatedly make these offerings throughout their lifetimes because the blood of bulls, goats, lambs, turtledoves, and pigeons could not permanently take away sin and guilt or permanently give peace. Only the blood of Jesus the Christ can do that.

Once and for all, Jesus shed His blood. And through His sacrifice, your conscience is permanently washed of guilt, your sin is forever forgiven, and peace is yours to have for all of eternity.
