Leviticus 14
Focus Verse: “But if he is poor and cannot afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil; – Leviticus 14:21

In Old Testament days, people made atonement for their sins based on how rich or how poor they were. But through the atonement of Jesus the Christ, you do not have to worry about not having enough to be forgiven or pardoned for things you do wrong. Christ is enough. He is all you need.

For you to be reconciled to God, Christ asks for nothing. He gives you everything.

If you made your own atonement, it would mean nothing. It would be powerless. Only by believing in the atonement of Christ do you have the ability to overcome sin, hardship, and death.
