Old Testament In a Year: March 30 – Deuteronomy 17, 18, 19

Deuteronomy 17, 18, 19
Focus Verse: When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him. – Deuteronomy 18:22

How can you know that the Bible is God’s Word? That every thing in it is spoken by Him?

You can know because many of the prophecies in the Bible have come true. Those that have not yet come true, will one day come true. God’s promise of salvation has been fulfilled. His promises to give perfect peace and to never leave or forsake you are being fulfilled. His promise to come again and live with you for all of eternity will be fulfilled.

The Bible is God’s Word that was spoken back then, is speaking now, and will speak in the future.

It is inspired. It is true. It will stand forever.

Your faith in its verity can be sure and certain.
