Old Testament In a Year: April 2 – Deuteronomy 26, 27

Deuteronomy 26, 27
Focus Verse: And you shall rejoice in all the good that the Lord your God has given to you and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the sojourner who is among you. – Deuteronomy 26:11

Your life will never be perfect, but sometimes – no matter how bad or unwanted or hard things may be – it is good to remember what is going right. One thing that will always be right is God and His goodness.

Reflect on all the good that God has brought your way – family, friends, your senses, an opportunity to learn, a chance to be alive. Reflect, and rejoice.

You can rejoice in the good that you had in the past, the good that you have in the present, and the good that will come your way in the future. You don’t have to face the future with uncertainty and fear. You don’t have to worry if past mistakes and present problems will mar your future. God takes everything that you have gone through and everything that you are going through and works it all out for your good.

Your future is good and full and bright. This is a fact. You can rejoice now in the future good that God will give you.
