Old Testament In a Year: April 4 – Deuteronomy 30, 31

Deuteronomy 30, 31
Focus Verse: Then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. – Deuteronomy 30:3

God desires for you to live a life of obedience and blessing, but He knows that you aren’t perfect. No one is.

If you make a mistake, God won’t throw you aside. If you place something or someone above Him, He won’t forget about you. If you turn from Him, He will not turn from you. Even if you wander as far from Him as far as the East is from the West, His love for you will remain.

And when you realize your mistake and return to Him, you will find that He never moved. That His grace and goodness has not diminished. That His compassion for you has not failed and that His faithfulness is still new every morning.

You will find mercy and forgiveness.

When you return to God with all your heart and all your soul, He will provide restoration of your blessings and your relationship with Him.
