Old Testament In a Year: May 3 – Psalms 52, 57, 142

Psalms 52, 57, 142
Focus Verse: I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him. – Psalm 142:2

Have you gone through something traumatic, but you’re too afraid to tell someone about it? Too ashamed to talk about it? You may be concerned that others will misunderstand you, make fun of you, or judge you. But with God, you don’t have to have those concerns. You can tell Him anything. He will love you just the same.

What is your trouble? What is your complaint? Whatever it is, tell it to Jesus.

There is no trouble so terrible and no complaint so great that God cannot handle it. You can go to Him in prayer and receive comfort and help. You can cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.

Don’t hold anything back. Give it all to Jesus. He is both Savior and Friend. “Jesus knows all about our struggles; He will guide ’til the day is done: There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: No, not one! no, not one!”
