Old Testament In a Year: May 24 – Psalms 12, 13, 14

Psalms 12, 13, 14
Focus Verse: The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. – Psalm 12:6

Every word that God has spoken can be trusted in and depended on.

Often times, human beings speak boastfully, saying words that they cannot fulfill, or they speak deceitfully, saying words that they do not intend to fulfill. But God does not speak in such a manner. His words are not dishonest or deceitful. They are not self-serving. They are not insincere. They cannot be proven wrong. God’s words are pure, flawless, and absolutely reliable.

Human beings may fail to keep their words, but God never will. Each of God’s sayings are true and faithful. All of His promises are yes and amen.

May your words echo God’s words, reflecting things that are true, noble, right, pure, and lovely.
