Old Testament In a Year: June 1 – Psalms 39, 40, 41

Psalms 39, 40, 41
Focus Verse: As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God! – Psalm 40:17

At times, you may often feel poor and needy as David did – if not physically or materially, then spiritually or emotionally. During such times, remember that God is thinking of you.

And when you are weak, He provides strength; when you are sad, He gives support; when you are helpless, He helps you; and when you are defenseless, He becomes your deliverer. To those who admit their weakness and call out to Him in their poverty, He will not deliver in answering and aiding.
