Old Testament In a Year: June 12 – Proverbs 5, 6, 7

Proverbs 5, 6, 7
Focus Verse: And you say, “How I hated discipline, and my heart despised reproof!” – Proverbs 5:12

Discipline and reproof, whether it comes from God or another human being, is never easy to bear. But if you take heed to it, it will always be worth it, because it will make you a better person. So, do not hate discipline and do not despise reproof. See it instead as a sign of God’s love for you. For He disciplines the one He loves, and He punishes each one He receives as His child.
