Theology is defined as rational inquiry into religious questions and more specifically as the study of God and His relation to our world. Most of us normally think of God alongside themes such as faith, sin, redemption, Heaven, Hell, life, death, etc. Rarely do we connect God with creativity and imagination.
Like all Olympic athletes, Gabby Douglas’ road to the Olympics was paved with determination, hard work and sacrifice. But it was more than that. Gabby’s journey was laid on a foundation of God’s Word and prayer.
Many people think dreams don’t mean anything, but they do. In some ways, they mean everything. Dreams, like ideas, are something we can’t see and the fact that they are invisible make them all the more powerful.
Do you ever wake up on a morning where the sun is shining and the birds are singing only to spill breakfast all over your clothes, miss the bus, and watch the rest of the day get screwed up? Or do you wake up on a rainy morning and just know that something unfortunate is going to happen? In life, many days may seem to turn out that way but even if we cannot always see the beauty, remember that God makes every day beautiful.
